All candidates should have previously received some prior formal dance training and must be successful in the Creative

Academy audition which assesses the potential skills of the applicant in a variety of dance genres consisting of;

• Contemporary Class
• Jazz Class
• Commercial Class
• Pre-prepared Solo (created by applicant in any genre of dance)
• Interview

WELSH STUDENTS Written Statement: Designation of Performing Arts and Related Courses (24 March 2026) | GOV.WALES on 24th March, we received a letter from Medr late last week confirming that BA (Hons) Dance and BA (Hons) Dance Top Up will be automatically designated for 2026/27 and Welsh students will be eligible for up to £6525 fee loan. The courses will retain designation until students commencing in academic year 2026/27 complete their studies but from 2027/28 registration will be required for new students. We will therefore still be required to submit the application, however we can do so under an extended timeframe in advance of 2027/28.

• Pre-prepared Acting
• Monologue
• Interview
